Layered Farming — Cronofi Finance on Cronos
With all the downfall of DAOs and OHM forks, Cronofi team had decided to stick to the conventional DEFI 1.0 yield farming mechanism.
Cronofi Finance will be introducing layered farming with anti whale mechanism to prevent instant dumping.
Layered Farming: We’ll be using layered farming strategies as a way to incentivize $CRONO token holders. The primary goal of the layered farms will be to increase the value of holding $CRONO token. This can be done by the following measures in the layered farms:
- Having a high multiplier for $CRONO Token
- Lower multiplier for non-native pools
- No deposit fee to stake $CRONO and earn Layer 2 Token
- Low emission rate
- Burning of both $CRONO and Layer 2 Token to increase the scarcity of them
- Continuation of $CRONO since the max supply will be reached in 70 days
Anti Whale Protection: To guard against whales, users have grown fond of the Anti-Whale feature from other farms which puts a limits on how much a user can transact per transaction.
Similarly, we will be implementing this Anti-Whale feature with the maximum transaction being capped at 5% of the total supply at any given point in time.
The rationale behind this is to ensure the price volatility is kept to the minimum, allowing users to get in and out at a better rate.
